How to Choose a Honeymoon Resort in Bali

The area decides more of the honeymoon than the hotel does, so pick the area first and the resort second. Then run every shortlisted property through the same five checks we use before we quote one:

• Is the private pool really private? Some "pool villas" are overlooked by a walkway or the next villa. Ask for a photo taken from inside the pool.
• Does the room category have the view in the photos? Valley-view, ocean-view and garden-view rooms at the same resort can feel like different hotels.
• How far is it from the airport, and from dinner? The south coast is close to the airport; Ubud is roughly 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours away, and gorge-side villas are 10–20 minutes from town.
• What is actually included? Breakfast almost always; airport transfers and honeymoon extras often not.

Do Indians need a visa for Bali?

You need a passport valid for at least six months, a return ticket and confirmed accommodation.

How many days are enough for a Bali honeymoon?

Five to seven nights is the sweet spot. Five nights lets you combine a beach area with Ubud comfortably. Seven nights adds time for Nusa Penida, Mount Batur at sunrise and a slower pace between transfers.
